Jenn has been one of &yet’s biggest fans for going on eight years. You might even call her an &yet stan, but she’s not a big fan of Eminem so don’t actually do that.
Secondly, she’s a very talented writer and editor, bringing not only her sharp grammatical skills, but also her ability to empathetically connect and perceive how people will feel in reaction to a piece she’s working on or writing herself. She’s written content for a large online audience, including the folks at npm, the Node.js open source community, the Apache CouchDB project, and our friends at Hoodie.
An introverted overachiever, Jenn has an ability to teach herself something, whether it’s conflict mediation, photography, public speaking, knitting, podcast recording and editing, screenwriting, video editing, cooking, or conference organization to name a few, and somehow give off the misperception that she’s extroverted when simply caught doing what she loves.
She believes her thirties are the babyhood of adulthood (the longest period in a person’s life) so she still aspires to be a comic book creator, a person who owns a “go” bag, a mental health counselor, a published author, proficient in krav maga, a grandma, a roller derby player (Ruth Bader Ginsburned), an owner of horses, a tattooed lady, a great grandma, and maybe even a celebrated screenwriter, someday.
And lastly she possesses a world class self awareness because she wrote this whole thing. She hopes it made you laugh.
